Mount Kilimanjaro is one of world’s most fascinating places. Especially for people who love mountaineering and hiking, this place is heaven for them. For many beginners who have just started to take part in mountaineering, Mount Kilimanjaro is the best place to start with. This place is also good for hiking as it is more like a hill then mountain terrain.
If we talk scientifically Mount Kilimanjaro is neither a mountain, nor a hill but it is actually an inactive volcano situated in North-eastern Tanzania. It is the highest point in the African continent which is located at a height of 5,895 meters above sea level.
Mount Kilimanjaro is practically and technically the easiest summit to climb. It is located at quite height and the relative ease in climbing it makes it the easiest tall mountain to climb on. Such facts make Mount Kilimanjaro a heaven for tourists. Many people come here with out much training before the climb this mountain.
Although relatively easy to climb, yet it requires some professional counseling and a little training to become aware of possible condition that a climber may face. Issues like altitude sickness are the major problems that some one might face.
