Each day of the year Dubai announces a new project which looks so amazing that its construction at the first glance look impractical but the engineers in Dubai have always turned down these speculation by constructing one of the most amazing buildings in the world. Each structure of the new revolutionary Dubai is a landmark.
Dubai is such a small city compared to the other larger cities of the world, yet it is full of so many breath taking views. So many skyscrapers and man made wonders.
Dubai Marina is one such structure which is actually a giant man made marina. A marina is basically a sheltered harbor where boats and small ships are kept in the water. These boats serve the needs of recreational boating and other boating events.
But boating is not the main thing about this spectacular structure, rather the whole Dubai Marina with its awesome view, speaks about the architectural skill of its makers.
The Dubai Marina is strategically located near Sheikh Zayed road, which is surrounded by some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. There are a number of other landmarks in this area like the Dubai internet city and the Emirates Golf Club.
Although the 'Marina del Rey' in California U.S.A is the largest man made Marina in the world. But upon completion, the Dubai Marina will snatch this title from U.S.A as it is expected to be the world's largest man made Marina once it's development is over.
The famous group 'Emaar' is the main force behind the development of the Dubai Marina. The Marina upon completion will host 200 high-rise buildings which includes both hotels and residential structures. The Dubai Marina will also have a stop to the Dubai Metro, which is going to start its service soon in the coming year.
