The Atlantis Dubai

I my recent post I discussed things related to 'The Lost World of Atlantis'. As I mentioned Atlantis is still a mystery and the only thing we know about Atlantis is from the dialogue of Plato. In this dialogue Plato described Atlantis to be covered with mountain, it had peace, prosperity,riches and a lot to feed the dwellers of this magnificent city. But this city got vanished and still search is on to find any clue related to Atlantis.
The dialogue of Plato has allowed a lot of imaginative creations around the world that have resemblance to the actual Atlantis. Although it is unknown what the real Atlantis looked like, therefore designers of Atlantis replicas, have tried to make this place resemble like what had been mentioned in Plato's dialogues, also the ancient Greek culture has also been taken into account when building these places.
A lot of popular culture exist related to Atlantis including the famous Disney animation "The Lost Empire" this just shows that how fascinated we are about this lost city.
Recently the Atlantis city in Dubai had its opening. This in my opinion is the most magnificent structure made from the Atlantis inspiration. We all know about the famous Palm islands in Dubai that are man made island erected on the Jumeirah coast. There are also a number of other Palm's and artificial islands in Dubai, but the beauty of the Jumeirah Palm is unquestionable. Atlantis is also situated on Palm Jumeirah and is one of the so many luxurious resorts in Dubai.
It has so many features to make you feel like you are actually in Atlantis. The building design and interior, water parks, the marine habitat and much more, all remind you of Atlantis. A part from being like Atlantis, it also has some Arabian touch which adds to the beauty of the place.
The quest to find the real Atlantis is on, till then you can enjoy the sight of this modern Atlantis in Dubai.
